Ohio Driving Intervention Program

Our DIP is a 48/72-hour residential program certified by the State of Ohio. The program is offered as an alternative to incarceration for persons arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any drug of abuse. The purpose of our program is to provide intervention services mandated by the legal system for Ohio DUI |OVI offenders. The program helps members recognize the seriousness of a  DUI / OVI  and the need to stop drinking and driving. Our program accomplishes this through education and referral services. The ultimate goal of the program is to help reduce the amount of DUI/ OVI cases in the  community by promoting safety through education.

OUR GOALS:

  1. To educate the offender as to the seriousness of drinking and driving.
  2. To provide screening and recommendations according to the new ODADAS requirements using modern screening instruments
  3. To cover such topics as insurance requirements, types of suspensions and requirements for reinstatement, rules of the road, laws, Breath Alcohol Concentration (BAC) information, explanations on how drinking affects the body and health.
